Typical sauce of Catalan and Mediterranean gastronomy, specifically from Tarragona. For grilled meat and fish. All kinds of grilled vegetables, the classic “Calçots” Base for stews.
This sauce is used to season fish, grilled meat, potatoes, and boiled or fresh vegetables. Virgin olive oil or roasted tomatoes can be added to soften the hot flavour.
