Add the peas and expected to return to a boil, reduce heat to simmer peas until tender. Drain and reserve.<\/li>\n<li>Heat the oil in a heavy-bottomed pan, add the bacon and fry 3 or 4 minutes to brown slightly.<\/li>\n<li>Add boiled peas, chopped mint, butter and pepper. Preparation of the fire away, give it a few turns to mix the ingredients.
